On June 27th, the horse completed a turf trial over 1200m at Conghua, finishing sections in 9-9-3 while showing good acceleration from behind. Five weeks ago, in a similar trial, the performance was reasonable despite a slow start and settling towards the rear. The horse demonstrated strong momentum but finished fifth, beaten by half a length. A recent barrier trial showed moderate form. This time, the horse will carry one pound more weight. Having previously secured three wins over this distance with comparable times in the same class, the overall situation is favorable despite drawing an outside barrier. The jockey has some understanding of the horse’s capabilities and enjoys a good relationship with the trainer; however, even with a hold-up tactic, its finishing kick may not be strong enough to beat the competition, but it should still be competitive.
