Two weeks ago, this horse ran poorly over a Sha Tin 1200m turf race, settling in a good position tracking the leaders with a steady pace but lacking a finishing surge and finishing well-beaten. Another trial over a Sha Tin 1400m turf course saw him carrying an additional two pounds. He has yet to win in six attempts at this distance. This time he will need to be held up, however his finishing kick is not as strong as the opposition, making for an unfavorable situation. Despite this, his times are comparable to those of other horses in the same group and warrants consideration.
