Last run winner, three weeks ago in a Sha Tin 1800m race, performed well. Slow jump out of the gate, settled towards the back but finished with a strong late surge to win comfortably by one and a half lengths. Stepping up in class this time, another trial over 1600m at Sha Tin. Need to carry six pounds more this time, having previously won three races at this distance, good times recorded against competitors. Drawing an inside barrier, expected to settle towards the back again with a strong finishing kick; capable of a dominant performance.
