On 4/7 (dirt trial 1200m: 3-2-2), the horse maintained a good second position with impressive composure. Three weeks ago, over Sha Tin’s 1400m turf, the performance was disappointing; settling in a good position tracking the leaders at a steady pace but lacking a strong finishing burst. He finished eighth, beaten three and a half lengths. A subsequent barrier trial showed slight improvement. Returning from a lower class, this horse will race over Sha Tin’s 1600m turf again, benefiting from a one-pound weight reduction. With four wins in fifteen starts at this distance and competitive times against its group, it demonstrates relative strength compared to other contenders. Prepared well despite drawing an outside barrier, the plan is to settle back in the field; however, its finishing kick may not be strong enough for its rivals, making the situation less favourable, but there is potential to redeem its previous run.
