PATCH OF THETA

Three weeks ago, this horse performed well over a Sha Tin 1400m race, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear. It showed a strong late run to finish fourth, beaten by one and a half lengths. Last start, it raced again over a Sha Tin 1600m course. This time it carries no additional weight; it has previous records on this distance, with good times in its group and is stronger than other competitors. Preparation work has been completed thoroughly, returning to training maturely with improvement. Even if forced to settle towards the rear again, its finishing kick isn't as strong as its rivals, resulting in a less favorable position and moderate public interest.
