On June 27th, this horse completed a turf trial over 1200m at Conghua, tracking the pace without being fully extended. It was its last run winner, having secured victory six weeks ago in a Happy Valley mile race with a good performance; a slow start saw it settle towards the rear, maintaining an even pace before finishing strongly to win. A subsequent barrier trial did not reveal much. Now stepping up in class, it will return to Sha Tin over 1600m this time with a 20-pound weight reduction. It has proven form at this distance and is expected to track the leaders. The horse appears capable of challenging for the lead and enjoys good synergy with its trainer. A clean jump is crucial, and if it can settle into a forward position, it should perform well.
